Folded, it’s a black sheet. Nobody buys a black sheet. The buyer wants to know something else: whether it fits their car, whether the dog will slide off it, whether it washes, and whether it stays put or ends up on the floor at the first corner.
What had to be right
Quilted black fabric on a light background. Black loses its relief unless the light is built to hold it, and here the relief is the product: the padding, the stitching, the non-slip backing.
The product fitted, with a dog in it. It’s the only image that answers the real question.
Dimensions and compatibility on the image: saloon, estate, family car, SUV. A buyer who isn’t sure it will fit doesn’t buy.
The materials shown layer by layer, because the selling point is that it’s waterproof and hard-wearing, and that doesn’t show in a photograph of the whole thing.
What we shot and built
- Clean listing images of the cover folded, spread out and in its carry bag.
- Frames in a real car with a dog, for the main image and for context.
- Infographics of the details: zips, pockets, mesh window, anchors.
- A compatibility chart by vehicle type and a layer-by-layer materials table.
- Product cards laid out ready for the marketplace.
What the brand got
The full listing from one production: photography, context with a dog, infographics and cards ready to upload. A product that only makes sense in use, explained inside its own gallery.
