Jewellery photography in Barcelona

For brands selling pieces the customer can’t hold before they arrive. Catalogue, campaign, model and video from one studio.

What you actually get

01 · Gold that reads as gold, not as a reflection of the studio Polished metal reflects the whole room: the lights, the camera, the set. On our set, what it reflects is chosen, not accidental — the piece reads as volume, not as a mirror full of clutter.

02 · Pavé where the stones are countable Dozens of small diamonds each catch light on their own facets. Without separation they collapse into a grey line. We light the stones and the metal separately, because they don’t want the same light.

03 · A colour your customer recognises when the parcel arrives Stones shift under the wrong light, and a customer who receives a different shade than the one on screen sends it back. We check colour against the piece in hand, not against the monitor alone.

04 · Sharp enough to zoom into the setting At macro distance, depth of field is a fraction of a millimetre. Every image is built by focus stacking from dozens of frames, so a customer can zoom in and still see the setting, not a blur.

Before Retouching / After Retouching

This section demonstrates how professional jewelry retouching enhances image quality by removing imperfections and improving overall visual clarity.

Even small improvements in lighting, reflections, and gemstone brilliance can significantly increase the perceived value of jewelry products.

Services

Four ways to photograph the same piece.

01 · Catalogue

Catalogue and e-commerce

Clean, precise images shot to one standard across the collection: listing number 200 still matches the first one.

Web · Shopify · Amazon · marketplaces

02 · Creative

Creative and advertising

Still life with set and lighting built for your brand. Not templates — composition made for the piece you're selling.

Campaigns · launches · social

03 · Model

With models

Jewellery worn answers what still life can't: how it sits, at what scale, on what skin.

Campaign · e-commerce · lifestyle

04 · Video

Video

Macro in motion: how the light travels across the facets. Exactly what a still frame can't show.

Reels · ads · product page

They can be combined in one session: same set-up, same lighting, and the pieces only travel once.

Rates

Stones and metal that look the way they do in the hand.

€1,200

FROM / PER PROJECT

Every reflection on the metal is controlled on set, and every setting is separated stone by stone in retouching. Your customer receives the same tone they saw on screen, and the piece looks the way it looks in the hand.

Included in every project

  • Studio session
  • Focus stacking
  • Retouching at high magnification
  • Colour checked against the piece in hand
  • Two rounds of revisions
  • Usage rights for web, e-commerce and social

The final figure depends on the number of pieces, the complexity of the settings and whether you need a model or video. Pavé and polished surfaces take more retouching time and are quoted separately. All prices exclude VAT.

How it works

01 · Brief. Collection, number of pieces, where the images will be used, your deadline. Proposal within 24 hours with a fixed price.

02 · You send the pieces. By courier, from any country, or bring them to the studio.

03 · Shoot. We send you frames to approve lighting and angles before retouching starts, not after delivery.

04 · Retouching. At high magnification: dust, fibres and micro-scratches, without flattening the metal or killing the sparkle.

05 · Delivery. Final files in 14 working days, named by reference. Two rounds of revisions. Your pieces come back to you.

Video

What only shows in motion.

A photo shows the shape. Video shows how the light travels across the facets — and that's what makes someone want the piece.

WITH MODEL

Jewellery worn: how it sits, at what scale, on what skin.

MACRO

The sparkle travels across the facets, with depth a still frame can't reach.

STOP MOTION

The piece is built frame by frame, photograph by photograph.

AI-GENERATED

Motion generated from photographs of the piece itself.

The jewellery is real and shot in the studio: AI adds the movement, it doesn't invent the product. Useful for content volume on social without a second shooting day.

We shoot photo and video in the same session: same set, same lighting, and the pieces only travel once.

Questions and Answers

Why does jewelry photography require specialist production?

Jewelry is one of the most technically demanding products to photograph. Polished metals reflect everything around them, gemstones need controlled light to preserve their brilliance, and small settings often require focus stacking to remain sharp at high resolution.

The goal is not simply to make the piece look beautiful, but to reproduce its materials, colour and craftsmanship accurately.

Can I send my jewelry to your studio?

Yes. I work with brands across Spain and internationally. You can ship your pieces directly to my studio in Barcelona, and the entire production can be managed remotely.

The products are carefully handled throughout the shoot and returned after the project is completed.

Is professional retouching included?

Yes. Professional retouching is included according to the scope agreed for the project.

For jewelry, this may include cleaning small imperfections, controlling reflections, correcting dust and fingerprints, refining metal surfaces and maintaining accurate colours without making the piece look artificial.

Can you organise models for a jewelry shoot?

Yes. I can manage the casting and coordinate the production, including models, makeup and hair, styling and other specialists when required.

Model photography can be produced together with catalogue and creative images so the entire collection keeps the same visual direction.

How long does a jewelry photography project take?

The production schedule depends on the size and complexity of the project. Once I receive your brief and product list, I’ll confirm the shooting date, retouching schedule and final delivery date in your proposal.

What do you need to prepare a quote?

Send me the number of pieces, the types of images you need, where the content will be used and any references or visual guidelines you already have.

If you are not sure what type of photography would work best, that’s fine — I can recommend the most suitable approach based on your products and objectives.
