The problem
DESEI sells edible paper: you write a message in edible ink, and whoever receives it eats it.
A product like that can’t be explained with a still photograph. A white sheet on a table is a white sheet. Without seeing the gesture, nobody understands what they’re buying.
The brand had just launched and needed photos for the shop and video for social. On a starting brand’s budget.
What was done
An express session of one hour, with the script closed the evening before.
In that time came the product photos, the detail shots and the video: the gesture of writing the message, and a stop-motion where the note disappears bite by bite — the most direct way to show that the paper is edible.
The result
Enough content to open the shop and start posting: listing, atmosphere and vertical video.
Why it matters
An hour of studio time doesn’t sound like much, and yet it covers a whole launch when the script is closed before anyone walks in.
That’s exactly the idea behind our open studio days: a short session, thought through in advance, that a small brand leaves with real material rather than a test.
